Annette Hadaway is one of forty-three animal communicators who contributed stories that will warm your heart and speak to your soul.

It’s exciting to experience two years of traveling the world teaching animal and nature communication.

After leaving Nepal , May 2022 Florian Rahmann, an animal communication colleague invited me to stay in his home, built in 1629 where he spent summers as a kid. This historic property is located near the medieval town of Rupit in the Pyrenees mountains of Spain.

My host picked me up at the Barcelona airport, got me settled-in, then headed back to Zurich leaving me in this magical place to explore on my own.

After a month, due to the Schengen Law, I scheduled a couple pet sits through Trusted Housesitters in England. I needed to leave the European Union so I could return to Europe in July to look after an estate.

My travels since May 2022 included Spain, England, Zurich Switzerland, back to England, Mumbai India, back to Zurich Switzerland, Mozambique, Assam India, back to Nepal, and Sri Lanka where I am currently.

I fell in love with the Jurassic Coast of England. Train travel in England is easy, inexpensive and extensive. Visiting Bath, Boscombe, Bosham, Bournemouth, Brighton, Bristol, Chichester, Christchurch, Corsham, London, Poole, Portland, Southampton, Swanage, Weymouth, and Worthing are highlights of my time in England. While pet sitting in Boscombe Queen Elizabeth II passed away. 

Although I’m experiencing amazing adventures there can be feelings of isolation traveling solo. As I load photos to this blog of some of the animals, humans, and places I’ve spent time with, we see I’m not alone.

यस संसारमा जनावर र प्रकृति संचार सिकाउने दुई वर्षको यात्राको अनुभव गर्न पाउनु रमाइलो लगि रहेको छ।

२०२२ मे मा नेपाल छोडेपछि, फ्लोरियन रहमान, एक पशु संचार सहकर्मीले मलाई सन १६२९ मा बनाएको उनको घरमा बस्न आमन्त्रित गरे जहाँ उनले ग्रीष्म ऋतुमा आफ्नो बाल्यकाल बिताएका थिए। यो ऐतिहासिक सम्पत्ति स्पेनको पाइरेनिस पर्वतमा रहेको मध्ययुगीन शहर रुपिट नजिकै अवस्थित छ। मेरो होस्टले मलाई बार्सिलोना एयरपोर्टमा लिन आएर मलाई यो जादुई ठाउँमा एक्लै अन्वेषण गर्न छोडेर उनि जुरिच फर्किए।

After a year of planning the day finally arrived, welcoming twenty-four students for two days of animal and nature communication instruction in Chitwan Nepal.

We ate together, played games, introduced the Best Friends workbook written by Tina Sieber and many elephants, created an art project and went on a jeep safari in Chitwan National Park. 

Every child got to take home the workbook, a set of colored pencils, their art project and a certificate of participation stating they received 8 hours of animal and nature communication instruction – thanks to support from Tina Sieber and Anita Vallala.

Lucas the dog, our translator, Sweta Shrestha’s animal companion helped teach.

Supplies and services were purchased for the event supporting the local community – we donated the leftover art supplies to a local school.

Children’s ANC looks forward to offering this academy again in Nepal and around the world.

एक वर्षको योजना बनाएर अन्ततः २४ जना विद्यार्थीलाई चितवन नेपालमा दुई दिने पशु तथा प्रकृति संचार निर्देशनको कक्षामा स्वागत गर्ने त्यो दिन पनि आयो ।

हामीले संगै खायौं, खेल खेल्यौं, टिना सिबर र धेरै हात्तीहरूद्वारा लिखित बेस्ट फ्रेन्ड्स कार्यपुस्तिका प्रस्तुत गर्यौं, एउटा आर्ट प्रोजेक्ट बनाएर चितवन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जमा जीप सफारीमा गयौं।

Sinhala Translation Coming Soon

The first rule in animal communication is – there are no rules in learning how to telepathically communicate with animals. Ha!

Not all humans recognize words right away but that does not mean they are not telepathically communicating with animals.

When teaching my first children’s animal communication workshop I noticed one student not participating in the dialogue with the rest of the class. Sensing by the look on the child’s face he was not hearing words from the animals, I asked if he had any questions – the boy shared he didn’t hear words like the other children. It occurred to me to share with the class that telepathic communication can come in a few ways, hearing words, seeing pictures in our minds, or experiencing a knowing. Joyously the child shared he had seen a picture in his mind when asking the animal a question! From that moment on the student happily joined in the dialogue for the remainder of the workshop.

If you are a human who sees pictures or has a knowing, I encourage you to ask the animal to interpret the picture or knowing you are experiencing. What do you hear? Don’t be afraid to ask the animals to speak louder, or ask the animals for help.

Before leading my first series of animal communication classes for kids I consulted with an elephant in Sri Lanka who wishes to be known as Ravee or Sunrise. Ravee guided us to teach children animal communication without showing photos of the animals. The wise elephant shared there was no need to meditate, nor do a grounding ritual or to close one’s eyes – just jump in and have the students start talking with him. The kids were communicating with two elephants within the first hour of class on their first day, Ravee, a temple elephant in Sri Lanka and Renaldo, a wild elephant in Nepal.

Jumping in and dialoguing with animals without photos, meditation, or grounding rituals is how I was taught to communicate with animals by my human teacher, Dr. Maia Kincaid. I started my animal communication certification classes with Maia, January 2018. In spring and fall 2018 I traveled to Nepal excited to practice telepathically communicating with elephants while working on their feet. Vowing not to hunker down in my hotel room to practice animal communication – a busy restaurant or coffee shop, a festival, and live in the moment face to face communication at any time showed me I could communicate anywhere in the moment. Deciding to dialog with animals in the noisiest, most chaotic places was challenging and so much fun!

The elephants encouraged me early in my education to be playful, have fun and make communication a learning game and that we humans are only limited by our own thinking.

जनावर संचारको पहिलो नियम – जनावरहरुसंग टेलिपाथिक संचार सिक्नको लागी कुनै नियम छैन। (ठट्टा !)

सबै मानिसहरूले शब्दहरू तुरुन्तै चिन्न सक्दैनन् तर यसको मतलब यो होइन कि तिनीहरूले जनावरहरूसंग टेलिपाथिक रूपमा सञ्चार गरिरहेका छैनन्।

मेरो पहिलो बालबालिकाको पशु संचार कार्यशाला सिकाउँदा मैले एक जना विद्यार्थीलाई याद गरें जसले कक्षाका बाँकी सदस्यहरूसंगको संवादमा भाग लिएको थिएन। बच्चाको अनुहारमा हेरेर थाहा पाए कि उसले जनावरहरूबाट शब्दहरू सुनिरहेको थिएन, मैले उसलाई केहि प्रश्न हरु छ भने सोध्दा हुन्छ भने – अरू बच्चाहरू जस्तै शब्दहरू सुनेको छैन भनेर उसले साझा गरे। त्यसपछि मलाई टेलिपाथिक सञ्चार जुनै तरिकामा आउन सक्छ भन्ने कक्षासंग साझा गर्ने कुरा आयो – शब्दहरू सुन्ने, हाम्रो दिमागमा तस्विरहरू हेर्ने वा जान्ने अनुभव गर्ने आदि इत्यादी । बच्चाले खुसीसाथ भन्यो कि उसले जनावरलाई प्रश्न सोध्दा उसले आफ्नो दिमागमा एउटा तस्वीर देखेको थियो! त्यस क्षणदेखि सो विद्यार्थी खुसीसाथ बच्चाहरूको कार्यशालाको बाँकी भागको लागि संवादमा सामेल भए।

यदि तपाई तस्बिरहरू हेर्ने वा जान्ने व्यक्ति हुनुहुन्छ भने, म तपाईले जनावरलाई चित्रको व्याख्या गर्न वा तपाईले अनुभव गरिरहनुभएको थाहा पाउन सोध्न प्रोत्साहन दिन्छु – तपाई के सुन्दै हुनुहुन्छ? जनावरलाई ठूलो स्वरमा बोल्न वा तपाईलाई मद्दत चाहिन्छ भनेर सोध्न नडराउनुहोस्।

बच्चाहरूको लागि पशु सञ्चार कक्षाको मेरो पहिलो शृङ्खलाको नेतृत्व गर्नु अघि मैले श्रीलंकाको एक हात्तीसंग परामर्श गरे जो रवी वा सूर्योदय भनेर चिनिन्छ । रवीले हामीलाई जनावरहरूको फोटो नदेखाई बच्चाहरूलाई पशु सञ्चार सिकाउन मार्गदर्शन गर्यो। बुद्धिमान हात्तीले बताए न  त्यहाँ ध्यान गर्न आवश्यक छ, न त ग्राउन्डिंग अनुष्ठान गर्न वा आँखा बन्द गर्न आवश्यक छ – बस आफ्नो मन भित्र हाम फाल्नुहोस् र विद्यार्थीहरूलाई उनीसंग कुरा गर्न लगाउनुहोस्। केटाकेटीहरूले आफ्नो पहिलो दिन कक्षाको पहिलो घण्टामा दुईवटा हात्तीहरूसंग कुराकानी गरिरहेका थिए – श्रीलंकाको मन्दिरको हात्ती रवी र नेपालको जंगली हात्ती रेनाल्डो।

फोटो, ध्यान, वा ग्राउन्डिङ अनुष्ठान बिना जनावरहरूसंग हाम फाल्नु र संवाद गर्नु भनेको मेरो मानव शिक्षक डा. मिया किनसियादले मलाई जनावरहरूसंग कुराकानी गर्न सिकाएको हो। मैले जनवरी २०१८ मा डा. मियासंग मेरो पशु संचार कक्षाहरू सुरु गरें। २०१८ को वसन्त र शरद ऋतुमा मैले हात्तीहरूको खुट्टामा काम गर्दै टेलिपाथिक रूपमा कुराकानीको अभ्यास गर्न उत्साहित हुँदै नेपाल भ्रमण गरें। मैले पशु सञ्चार अभ्यास गर्न मैले आफुलाई मेरो होटेलको कोठामै नथुनिने गर्ने वाचा गरे – व्यस्त रेस्टुरेन्ट वा कफी पसल, चाडपर्व, र क्षणभरमा आमनेसामने सञ्चारमा बाँच्ने, जुनसुकै बेला म जहाँसुकै सञ्चार गर्न सक्छु भनेर थाहा पाए। सबैभन्दा कोलाहल र अराजक ठाउँहरूमा जनावरहरूसँग संवाद गर्ने निर्णय गर्नु धेरै चुनौतीपूर्ण र रमाइलो थियो!

हात्तीहरूले मलाई मेरो शिक्षाको प्रारम्भमा चंचल हुन, रमाइलो गर्न र सञ्चारलाई सिकाउने खेल बनाउन र हामी मानवहरू केवल हाम्रो आफ्नै सोचमा सीमित छौं भनेर प्रोत्साहन दिए।

Wild Elephants and Jeewa in Sri Lanka – श्रीलंकामा जंगली हात्तीहरु र जीवा

Spring 2021 – A temple elephant in Sri Lanka reached out to have a conversation with me. We chatted about his well being and mine. He asked if I would refer to him as Sunrise. Sunrise offered to help me structure a children’s animal and nature communication program. I asked Sunrise if he wanted to meet some of my animal communication colleagues – he was delighted to have more dialog.

Here is a conversation with Sunrise and a colleague, Anita Vallala of Embracing Miracles in India.

Call Me Ravee
Earlier this year my classmate Annette Hadaway from Sedona International School For Animal And Nature Communication invited me to her weekly telepathic communication session with elephants called Elephant Hour, a group of telepathic animal and nature communicators from across the globe who meet every week to communicate with elephants from all over the world.

As I begin to telepathically talk to this elephant the first thing I experienced is the simplicity of his personality. While observing his personality I understood that he is a teacher. A gentle teacher. He wanted to be more than just a temple elephant. I was curious to know what he aspired to be. When I asked him he said, “I want to spend time with children and teach them the way of life.” His voice was gentle but firm and very soothing. He added, “I’d like to tell them stories, go for walks with them and play with them.” His aspiration was endearing and inspiring. While we were discussing what else he plans to do Annette asks him a question – What would you like to be called. Instantly I heard, “Call me Ravee.” I shared what I heard from the elephant with the group and then Annette goes on to share her communication and says that he would like to be called Sunrise.

Hearing this I broke down into tears. This was surreal! Ravee and Sunrise – what are the odds? Ravee in Sanskrit means sun. Right there I was completely in awe of Ravee. I was grateful for the opportunity to communicate with this beautiful, loving, spiritual being. As I bid him goodbye only to meet him soon he gave me a beautiful image. He was amongst many children playing, walking, and laughing. He left me with a very happy image of his aspiration. I hope and wish that I contribute and have the privilege of being a part of his beautiful dream. I look forward to working with him. Thank you Ravee!

Ravee, along with Renaldo, a wild elephant in Nepal, works with us to structure and conduct a five hour animal and nature communication course.

In one of our collaborations Ravee encouraged me to translate the blog posts on Animal And Nature Connect to Sinhala, sometimes called Sinhalese, primarily spoken by the Sinhalese people of Sri Lanka.

Agreeing to Ravees encouragement left me wondering where I would find a translator – I asked for help from Ravee and the elephant collective who are helping us humans write The Elephant And Children’s Land Story, The Elephant And Children’s Sea Story and The Elephant And Children’s Air Story trilogy.

It wasn’t long before I was connected to Zac Lovas of Veg Voyages, a Vegan Travel Company focusing on cultural immersion and local interaction. Zac shared he had the most wonderful trusted guide contact in Sri Lanka who spoke English and reached out to Jeewa to see if he was interested in translating our blog posts, then introduced us.

Jeewa has been working on translating all of Animal And Nature Connects blog posts from our beginning. Sinhala is one of the most beautifully written languages in the world! We are grateful for this partnership.

Jeewa And His Family – जीवा र उनको परिवार

वसन्त २०२१ – श्रीलंकाको एउटा मन्दिरको हात्ती मसँग कुराकानी गर्न पुग्यो। हामीले उनको र मेरो स्वास्थ्यको बारेमा कुराकानी गर्यौ। उसलाई मैले सनराइज भनेर सम्बोधन गर्न सकिन्छ कि भनेर उसले मलाई सोध्यो । सनराइजले मलाई बालबालिकाको जनावर र प्रकृति संचार कार्यक्रमको संरचना बनाउन मद्दत गर्ने प्रस्ताव राख्यो। मैले सनराइजलाई मेरा केही पशु संचार सहकर्मीहरूलाई भेट्न चाहन्छौ कि भनेर सोध्दा ऊ थप संवाद गर्न पाउँदा खुसी भयो।

यहाँ सनराइज र भारतको इम्ब्रेसिंग मिराकल्सकी सहकर्मी अनिता भल्लालासँग गरिएको कुराकानी हो।

मलाई रवी भनेर बोलाउनु होस् 

यस वर्षको सुरुमा सेडोना इन्टरनेशनल स्कूल फर एनिमल एन्ड नेचर कम्युनिकेसनबाट मेरो सहपाठी एनेट हेडावेले मलाई हात्तीहरूसँगको उनको साप्ताहिक टेलिपाथिक सञ्चार सत्रमा निम्तो दिएकी थिइन्, जसलाई एलिफ्यान्ट आवर भनिन्छ, संसारभरका टेलिपाथिक जनावर र प्रकृति संचारकर्ताहरूको समूह जसले हात्तीहरूसँग सञ्चार गर्न हरेक हप्ता संसारभरबाट भेट्छन्।

जब मैले यो हात्तीसँग टेलिपाथिक रूपमा कुरा गर्न थालेँ, मैले पहिलो कुरामा उसको व्यक्तित्वको सरलता अनुभव गरें भने। उहाँको व्यक्तित्व हेर्दा मैले उहाँ शिक्षक हुनुहुन्छ भन्ने बुझे । एक कोमल शिक्षक। उनी मन्दिरको हात्ती भन्दा अरु केहि ठुलो बन्न चाहन्थे। उहाँ के बन्न चाहनुहुन्थ्यो भनेर जान्न उत्सुक थिएँ। मैले सोध्दा उनले भने, “म बच्चाहरूसँग समय बिताउन चाहन्छु र उनीहरूलाई जीवन शैली सिकाउन चाहन्छु।” उनको स्वर कोमल तर ठोस र धेरै शान्त थियो। उनले थपे, “म उनीहरूलाई कथाहरू सुनाउन चाहन्छु, उनीहरूसँग हिँड्न र उनीहरूसँग खेल्न चाहन्छु।” उनको आकांक्षा मायालु र प्रेरणादायी थियो। हामीले अरू के गर्ने भनेर छलफल गरिरहँदा एनेटले उहाँलाई एउटा प्रश्न सोधे – तपाईलाई के भनेर बोलाउनु ? तुरुन्तै मैले सुनें, “मलाई रवि भनेर बोलाउनुहोस्।” मैले हात्तीबाट सुनेको कुरा समूहसँग साझा गरें र त्यसपछि एनेटले उनको संचार साझा गर्दा उसलाई सनराइज भनेर बोलाको मन पर्छ भनिन्।

यो सुनेर मेरो आँसु झर्यो । यो अवास्तविक थियो! रवी र सनराइज – कस्तो सन्जोग रहेछ? संस्कृतमा रवीको अर्थ सूर्य हो। त्यहीँ म रवीसँग पूरै छक्क परें। म यस सुन्दर, मायालु, आध्यात्मिक प्राणीसँग कुराकानी गर्ने अवसरको लागि कृतज्ञ थिएँ। मैले उहाँलाई फेरी भेट्ने आशामा उहाँलाई बिदाइ गरेपछि उहाँले मलाई एउटा सुन्दर छवि दिनुभयो। खेल्ने, हिँड्ने र हाँसिरहेका धेरै केटाकेटीहरूमध्ये उहाँ हुनुहुन्थ्यो। उसले मलाई आफ्नो आकांक्षाको धेरै खुसी छविको साथ बिदा लिए। म आशा र कामना गरेर उसको जीवन सरल बनाउने योगदान गर्नेछु र उहाँको सुन्दर सपनाको हिस्सा बन्ने सुअवसर पाएकोमा कृतज्ञ छु। म उहाँसँग काम गर्न उत्सुक छु। धन्यवाद रवि!

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ  වන අලි ඇතුන් සහ ජීවා

වසන්තය 2021 – ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ විහාරස්ථාන ඇතෙකු මා හා සංනිවේදනයට දායක විය.ඔහුගේ හැසිරීම සහ මානසිකත්වය පිළිබදව අප කතා බහ කළෙමු.මම ඔහුව රවී ලෙස හදුන්වන්නේදැයි විමසීය.රවී මා හට ළමා සත්ව සහ සොබාදහම පිළිබද සන්නිවේදන වැඩසටහනක් සැකසීම සදහා උදව් කිරීමට ඉදිරිපත් විය.මම ඔහුගෙන් සත්ව සංනිවේදන සගයන් කීප දෙනෙකු හා සම්භන්ධ වීමටද අවශ්‍යදැයි විමසූ විට – ඒ ගැන තවත් සංවාදයක් පැවැත්වීම ගැන සතුටු විය.

ඉන්දියාවේ ආශ්චර්‍යයන් වැළදගත් නැගෙන හිරු සහ සගයෙකුවන අනීතා වල්ලාල සමගින් ඇති වූ සංවාදය මෙතනින්,  Anita Vallala of Embracing Miracles in India.

මට රවී කියා අමතන්න

මෙම වසර මුල් කාලයේදී මාගේ පංතියේ මිතුරෙකු වන ඇනට් හැඩවේ විසින් සත්ව සහ සොභාව සංනිවේදන ආයතනය වෙනුවෙන්  සෙඩෝනා ජාත්‍යන්තර පාසලෙහි ඇයගේ සතිපතා ටෙලිපති සංනිවේදන සැසියට මට ආරාධනා කරන ලදී.ඇත් හෝරාව යනු, අලි ඇතුන් සමග සංනිවේදනය කිරීමට සෑම සතියකම රැස්වන ලොව පුරා සිටින ටෙලිපති සත්ව හා සොභාව සංනිවේදකයින් පිරිසකි.මම මෙම ඇතාට ටෙලිපති මගින් සංනිවේදනය කිරීමට පටන් ගත් විට මුලින්ම අත්වින්දේ ඔහුගේ පෞර්ෂත්වයේ ඇති සරල බවයි.මා එය නිරීක්ෂණය කරන විට ඔහු ගුරුවරයෙකු බවද මට වැටහුනි.එපමනක් නොව නිහතමාණී ගුරුවරයෙක්ද විය.ඔහුට අවශ්‍ය වූයේ පංසලක ඇතෙකු වෙනවාට වඩා වැඩි යමක් කිරීමටය.ඔහු අපේක්ෂා කරන්නේ කුමක් දැයි දැනගැනීමට මා හට කුතුහලයක් ඇතිවිය.එය විමසූ විට ඔහු ” මට දරුවන් සමග කාලය ගත කිරීමටත් ජීවන මාර්ගය ඉගැන්වීමටත් අවශ්‍ය” බව පැවසීය.ඔහුගේ කටහඩ මෘදු සහ ස්ථිර වූ අතර එය ඉතා සංසුන් විය.” මම ඔවුන් සමග කතා කරන්න,ඇවිදින්න යන්න සහ සෙල්ලම් කරන්න කැමතියි.” ඔහුගේ අභිලාශය ප්‍රියජනක හා ආශ්වාද ජනක විය.ඔහු තවත් කුමක් කිරීමට අදහස් කරන්නේ දැයි අපි සාකච්චා කරමින් සිටියදී ඇනට් ඔහුගෙන් ප්‍රශ්ණයක් ඇසුවාය. – ඔබ කුමක් නමින් හදුන්වනවටද කැමති? ” මට රවී කියන්න” මම ඇතාගෙන් ඇසූ දේ කණ්ඩායම සමග බෙදා ගත් අතර පසුව ඇනට් ඇයගේ සංනිවේදනය කිරීමට ගොස් හිරු උදාව ලෙස හැදින්වීමට කැමති බව පැවසුවාය.

මෙය ඇසූ විට මා ඉතා සංවේදී විය.මෙය ඉතා යතාර්ථවාදී විය.රවි සහ හිරු උදාව – අවාසි මොනවාද?

සංස්කෘත භාෂාවෙන් රවී යනු සූර්‍ය්යා යන්නයි එතනම මම රවී ගැන බියට පත් වූවා.මෙම සුන්දර,ආදරණීය අධ්‍යාත්මික සත්වයා සමග සංනිවේදනය කිරීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබීම ගැන මම කෘතඥ වෙමි.නැවතත් ඉක්මනින්ම හමුවීමට පමනක් සමුදෙන විට ඔහු මට ලස්සන රූපයක් ලබා දුන්නේය.සෙල්ලම් කරන,ඇවිදින,සිනාසෙන බොහෝ දරුවන් අතර ඔහුද විය.ඔහුගේ අභිලාෂය පිළිබද ඉතා සතුටු සිතුවමක් මවා ඔහු මා හැර ගියේය.ඔහුගේ සුන්දර සිහිනයේ කොටස්කරුවෙකු වීමට දායක වීම සදහා මට වරප්‍රසාද ලැබෙනු ඇතැයි මම බලාපොරොත්තු වෙමි.

ශ්‍රී ලාංකික රවී.

රවී නේපාලයේ වන අලියෙකු වන රොනාල්ඩෝ සමග, ළමුන් සදහා පැය පහක සත්ව හා සොභාව සංනිවේදන පාඨමාලාවක් සැකසීමට සහ පැවැත්වීමට මා සමග කටයුතු කරයි.අපගේ එක් සහයෝගීතාවයකින් සත්ව හා සොභාව සම්බන්ධතා හි බ්ලොග් සටහන් සිංහලයට පරිවර්තනය කිරීමට රවී මා දිරිමත් කලේය.සමහර විට සිංහල ලෙසද හැදින්වේ,මූලික වශයෙන් ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ජනතාව සිංහල භාෂාව භාවිතා කරයි.

රවීගේ දිරිගැන්වීමට එකග වීම නිසා මා හට පරිවර්තකයෙකු සොයාගත හැක්කේ කෙසේදැයි මා කල්පනා කලෙමි – අලි ඇතුන් සහ ළමා භූමි කතාව,අලි ඇතුන් සහ ළමා මුහුදු කතාව,අලි ඇතුන් සහ ළමා ගුවන් කතාව ලිවීමට රවී සහ ඇත් කණ්ඩායමෙන් මිනිසුන් වන අපට උදව් කරන මෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියෙමි.

දේශීය අන්තර් ක්‍රියාවන් සහ ඉතා ගැඹුරින්  සංස්කෘතික ක්‍රියාවන් කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කරන නිර්මාංශික ට්‍රැවල් සමාගමක් වන Veg Voyeges ආයාතනයේ සැක් ලෝවාස් මහතා සමග සම්භන්ධවීමට මා හට එපමණ කාලයක් ගත නොවීය.සැක් මහතා ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ඉංග්‍රීසි කතා කරන විශිෂටතම මාර්ගෝපදේශක සම්භන්ධතා ඔහුට තිබෙන බවට මා දැනුවත් කල අතර ජීවා හදුන්වා දී ඔහු අපගේ බ්ලොග් සටහන් පරිවර්තනය කිරීමට කැමැති දැයි බැලීමට අවස්ථාව උදා කර දුන්නේය.ජීවා අපගේ ආරම්භයේ සිටම සත්ව සහ සොභාව සම්භන්ධතා බ්ලොග් සටහන් සියල්ල පරිවර්තනය කිරීමට කටයුතු කරමින් සිටී.සිංහල භාෂාව යනු ලෝකයේ තිබෙන ලස්සනම භාෂාවලින් එකක් සහ මනා ඉතිහාසයක් ඇති භාෂාවකි! මෙම හවුල්කාරීත්වය සදහා අපි ඔහුට කෘතඥ වන අතර අලි ඇතුන්ටද ස්තුතිවන්ත වෙනවා

Sauraha Nepal April 2022 – While standing on my balcony I saw two boys chasing and hitting a street dog with a long stick. The kind of long stick you see forest guides walking with in Chitwan National Park. The dog’s name is Buntu.

Martina’s sweet and savory pancake shop is popular with tourists in Chitwan, Nepal. The shop offers pancakes, organic coffee and a place to refill your drinking water bottles. The one thing that makes this shop different from other restaurants in Sauraha, a community that borders Chitwan National Park is Martina’s commitment to the wellbeing of street dogs.

Tuesdays Martina would close the pancake shop venturing out on her bicycle to feed and treat street dogs she would find in distress. Locals often called Martina if they found a dog that needed help. Martina uses her proceeds from the pancake shop and donations to fund her work with the dogs.

Martina would organize sterilization clinics with HART. In Nepal there are more street dogs than there are people who are willing to adopt them. HART, Himalayan Animal Rescue Trust is one organization in Nepal that conducts sterilization clinics and community awareness to help with population control. Street dogs are picked up, sterilized and taken back to the street where they were picked up. Community members often feed street dogs. More and more dogs in Nepal are transitioning from street dogs to community dogs thanks to organizations like HART.

Buntu appeared in front of Martina’s pancake shop November 2021, malnourished, dirty, and tired. Martina being Martina immediately added Buntu to the list of dogs she looked after. Martina made sure Buntu had a meal every day, paid for Buntu to get sterilized and started treatment for an ear infection. 

Buntu was gentle with children, cautious of adults and viscously aggressive toward other dogs around food. 

Martina was curious where Buntu came from and asked me if I would have a conversation with him.

Buntu shared that he lived with a loving human. When his person passed away Buntu was cast out of the home to live on the street. One day as Buntu was walking along a road he was told by many beings of nature about Martina’s place. After nearly four weeks of walking Buntu showed up at Martina’s pancake shop.

March 27, 2022 – Martina moved to Chitrasari on a large lot of land with space to expand her pancake shop and land for the dogs. Pancakes And Paws, Martina’s dream of having a forever home for elderly street dogs became a reality.

Martina asked me to ask Buntu if he would love to live at Pancakes And Paws.

Buntu shared he wanted his own human in a one dog home. He did not want to move to Martina’s new location. Accepting Buntu’s wishes knowing how aggressive Buntu was towards other dogs at meal time Martina paid a friend who lived in Sauraha to feed and look after Buntu when she moved to Chitrasari. Martina would continue to look for a forever home for Buntu.

Buntu when he appeared at Martina’s pancake shop November 2021 – बुन्टु नोभेम्बर २०२१ मा मार्टिनाको प्यानकेक पसलमा देखा पर्दा – 2021 නොවැම්බර් මස මා(ර්)ටිනා ගේ පෑන්කේක් කඩය අසල බුන්ටු දක්නට ලැබුණි.

After seeing the two boys chasing and hitting Buntu I quickly dressed and set out on foot to find the boys. At this point Martina had moved to Chitrasari.

Five minutes walk from my room I saw Buntu running out of a small shop where he was hiding from the boys. Buntu ran past me. The boys turned and saw Buntu, then took off running after him.

When the boys reached me I told them to stop. I asked the boys why they were chasing the dog? One of the boys replied in English, he’s a bad dog, then both boys repeated bad dog, bad dog. The boys walked away from me in the direction they saw Buntu run. I walked with them, telling the boys that Buntu’s person had recently died, he had nowhere to go and that Buntu was in need of love. The boys looked at me with a puzzled expression – I repeated that Buntus’ person had died and Buntu needed our love and then asked them – if I talked to Martina about Buntu moving to her new place would they quit chasing him? One of the boys said yes while the other boy continued to chant bad dog.

Heading back to my room to message Martina I remembered visiting Sauraha in 2018, seeing the boy who had just agreed to stop chasing Buntu hit by his father with the same stick the boy was beating Buntu with. This boy’s father had beat his son in the street with this stick until community members ran over to stop the beating. 

Once back in my room I messaged Martina about the cruelty Buntu was suffering asking if she had any luck in finding a forever home for Buntu, then messaged the woman who was feeding Buntu. That same evening I had a session with animal communication colleagues from around the world. We met once a week on ZOOM to communicate with whomever wanted to talk with us. We invited Buntu to share with us more deeply why he didn’t want to move to Pancakes And Paws and if there was any possibility he would change his mind. Buntu shared with the communicators that he was set in his ways, was willing to move to Pancakes And Paws but had concern that a human in that setting would not have the patience needed to work with him. After the session with my colleagues I messaged Martina sharing Buntus communication.

The next day I received a call from the son of the woman who was feeding Buntu. At that moment adult business owners on the street were stoning Buntu. I later learned these adults told the boys to chase and hit Buntu.

When I arrived on the scene Buntu was laying on the side of the street not far from Martina’s old shop, panting in distress, dirty, matted fur, with his infected ear full of flies. He let me pet him before he decided to run off when a young woman ran up to us yelling at me in Nepali. Understanding these humans were just reacting in fear didn’t make it easier seeing this dog suffer. I put in another message to Martina.

That evening Martina made a commitment to Buntu, showing up in a tuk tuk on that street in Sauraha. Buntu immediately hopped in the tuk tuk – riding to his forever home at Pancakes And Paws.

May 13 2022 Martina messaged Annette. Annette had left Nepal for Spain – Buntu has been shaved, skin and fur conditioner massage, ear almost healed. We take him in the back to socialize with other dogs or he stays in front ,charming the customers.

मे १३ २०२२ मा  मार्टिनाले एनेटलाई स्पेनमा रहेको बेला – बुन्टुलाई खौरिएको छ, छाला र रौ कन्डिसनरले मसाज गरेर, कान लगभग निको भएको सन्देस पठाइन । कि त हामी उसलाई अन्य कुकुरहरूसँग मिलाउन पछाडि लैजान्छौं वा , ग्राहकहरूलाई मनमोहक पार्न ऊ अगाडि बस्छ।

2022 මැයි මස 13 වෙනි දින මා(ර්)ටිනා ස්පාඤ්ඤයේ සිටින අතර තුර ඇනට් වෙත යවනු ලැබුවාය- බූන්ටුව බූ ගා ඇත,කන්ඩිෂනර් දමා ලොම් සම්භාහනය කිරීමෙන් කන් බොහෝ දුරට සුව විය. අප ඔහුව පිටුපසට ගෙන වෙනත් සුනඛයන් හා ඇසුරට යොමු කලෙමු.එසේ නොමැතිනම් පාර්භෝගිකයන් ආකර්ෂනය කරගනිමින් ඉදිරියෙන් සිටියේය.

सौराहा नेपाल अप्रिल २०२२ – मेरो बालकनीमा उभिरहेको बेला मैले दुईजना केटाहरूले सडकको कुकुरलाई लामो लट्ठीले पिट्दै गरेको देखेँ। चितवन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जमा वन गाइडहरूले लामो लठ्ठी लिएर हिँडेको तपाईले देख्नु भएको होला, त्यस्तै खाले लट्ठी। कुकुरको नाम बुन्टु हो।

मार्टिनाको गुलियो र स्वादिलो प्यानकेक पसल चितवन, नेपालको पर्यटकहरूमाझ लोकप्रिय छ। यस पसलले प्यानकेकहरू,अर्गानिक कफी र तपाईको पिउने पानीका बोतलहरू रिफिल गर्ने ठाउँ प्रदान गर्दछ। चितवन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जको सिमानामा रहेको सौराहाका अन्य रेस्टुरेन्टहरूभन्दा यो पसललाई फरक बनाउने एउटा कुरा भनेको सडकका कुकुरहरूको कल्याणप्रति मार्टिनाको प्रतिबद्धता हो।

मंगलबार मार्टिनाले पेनकेक पसल बन्द गरेर उसको साइकलमा सडकका कुकुरहरूलाई खाना खुवाउन र उपचार गर्नको लागि बाहिर निस्कन्छिन्। स्थानीयहरूले आफ्नो कुकुर बिरामी हुदा प्राय जस्सो उनीहरुले मार्टिनालाई बोलाउँछन्। मार्टिनाले प्यानकेक पसलबाट प्राप्त आम्दानी र कुकुरहरूसँगको आफ्नो कामको लागि चन्दा प्रयोग गर्छिन्।

मार्टिनाले हार्ट सँग मिलेर कुकुर बंदिकरण गर्ने कार्यक्रम व्यवस्थित गर्छिन। नेपालमा पाल्न इच्छुक मानिसभन्दा सडकका कुकुरको संख्या बढी छ । हार्ट, हिमालयन एनिमल रेस्क्यु ट्रस्ट नेपालको एउटा संस्था हो जसले कुकुरका जनसङ्ख्या नियन्त्रणमा मद्दत गर्न बंदिकरण क्लिनिकहरू र सामुदायिक चेतना फैलाउँछ। सडकका कुकुरहरूलाई उठाएर, उनीहरूलाई बन्धिकरण गरेर फेरी सडकमा फिर्ता लगिन्छ। समुदायका सदस्यहरूले प्राय सडकका कुकुरहरूलाई खाना खुवाउने गर्छन। हार्ट जस्ता संस्थाहरूको कारण नेपालमा धेरै भन्दा धेरै कुकुरहरू भुसिया देखि सामुदायिक कुकुर हुदै छन्।  

नोभेम्बर २०२१ मा बुन्टु मार्टिनाको प्यानकेक पसलको अगाडि कुपोषित, फोहोर र थकित अवस्थामा देखा पर्‍यो। मार्टिना मार्टिना भएर तुरुन्तै बुन्टुलाई उनले हेरचाह गर्ने कुकुरहरूको सूचीमा थपे। मार्टिनाले बुन्टुलाई हरेक दिन खाना खुवाउने कुरा सुनिश्चित गरिन्, बुन्टुको बन्ध्याकरण  गराउन पैसा तिरिन् र कानको संक्रमणको उपचार सुरु गरिन्।

बुन्टु बच्चाहरूसँग नम्र थिए, वयस्कहरूसँग सतर्क थिए र खानाको वरिपरि अन्य कुकुरहरूप्रति आक्रामक थिए।

बुन्टु कहाँबाट आयो भनेर मार्टिना जिज्ञासु भइन् र म बुन्टुसँग कुराकानी गर्न तयार छु कि भनेर सोधिन।

बुन्टुले आफू मायालु मानिससँग बसेको बताए। उनको व्यक्तिको मृत्यु भएपछि बुन्टुलाई घरबाट लखेटेको थियो। एक दिन बुन्टु बाटोमा हिड्दै गर्दा उनलाई मार्टिनाको ठाउँको बारेमा धेरै प्रकृतिका प्राणीहरूले बताए। करिब चार हप्ताको पैदल यात्रा पछि बुन्टु मार्टिनाको प्यानकेक पसलमा देखा पर्‍यो।

मार्च २७, २०२२ – मार्टिना आफ्नो प्यानकेक पसल र कुकुरहरूका लागि जग्गा विस्तार गर्न ठाउँसहितको ठूलो जमिनमा चित्रसारी सरिन्। प्यानकेक र पज, मार्टिनाको वृद्ध भुसिया कुकुरहरूका लागि सधैंको लागि घर बनाउने सपना साकार भयो।

मार्टिनाले मलाई बुन्टुलाई प्यानकेक र पजमा बस्न मनपर्छ कि भनेर सोध्न भनिन्।

बुन्टुले एउटा घरमा आफ्नै मान्छे चाहेको बताए। उनी मार्टिनाको नयाँ स्थानमा जान चाहँदैनन् भने। खानाको समयमा अन्य कुकुरहरूप्रति बुन्टु कति आक्रामक थियो भन्ने थाह पाएर बुन्टुको इच्छालाई स्वीकार गर्दै मार्टिनाले सौराहामा बस्ने साथीलाई आफु चित्रसारीमा बसाइँ सरेपछि बुन्टुलाई खुवाउन र हेरचाह गर्न पैसा दिइन्। मार्टिनाले बुन्टुको लागि सदाको लागि घर खोजिरहेकी थिइन्।

दुई जना केटाले बन्टुलाई खेदाउदै हिर्काएको देखेपछि म हतार-हतार लुगा लगाएर केटाहरूलाई खोज्न पैदल निस्किएँ। यही क्रममा मार्टिना चित्रसारीमा सरिन् ।

मेरो कोठाबाट पाँच मिनेट हिढेर पर पुगे पछि मैले बुन्टुलाई सानो पसल तिर केटाहरूबाट भागिरहेको देखें। बुन्टु मेरो छेउबाट दौडियो। केटाहरूले फर्केर बुन्टुलाई देखेर उसको पछि दौडे।

केटाहरू म सामू पुगेपछि मैले उनीहरूलाई रोक्न भनें। मैले किन कुकुरलाई खेदेको भनेर केटाहरूलाई सोधेँ ? एकजना केटाले अंग्रेजीमा जवाफ दिए, उ नराम्रो कुकुर हो , त्यसपछि दुवै केटाले नराम्रो कुकुर, नराम्रो कुकुर भनेर दोहोर्याए। केटाहरू बुन्टुलाई दौडिरहेको देखेर त्यता तिर दौडिदै गए। म उनीहरूसँगै हिँडें, केटाहरूलाई बन्टुको व्यक्ति भर्खरै बितेर, उसको जाने ठाउँ कहिँ नभएको र बुन्टुलाई मायाको खाँचो छ भनी बताए। केटाहरूले मलाई अचम्मित भावका साथ हेरे – मैले दोहोर्याएँ कि बुन्टुको व्यक्ति मरेको थियो र बुन्टुलाई हाम्रो माया चाहिएको छ र त्यसपछि उनीहरूलाई सोधे – यदि मैले मार्टिनालाई उसको नयाँ ठाउँमा बुन्टुलाई सार्ने बारेमा कुरा गरें भने के उनीहरूले बुन्टुको पछि लाग्न छोड्छन्? एउटा केटाले हुन्छ भन्यो भने अर्को केटाले खराब कुकुरको नारा जारी राख्यो।

मार्टिनालाई म्यासेज गर्न आफ्नो कोठामा फर्किँदा मलाई सन् २०१८ मा सौराहा गएको सम्झना आयो, जुन केटाले बुन्टुलाई लठ्ठीले हानेको थियो त्यहि लट्ठीले आफ्नो बुवाको पिटाई खायो। जबसम्म समुदायका सदस्यहरू कुटपिट रोक्न दौडिएनन् त्यो केटाका बुबाले आफ्नो छोरालाई सडकमा लठ्ठीले पिटी रहे।

एक पटक मेरो कोठामा फर्केर बुन्टुको लागि सदाको लागि घर खोज्ने भाग्य छ कि भनेर सोध्दै क्रूरताको बारेमा मैले मार्टिनालाई सन्देश पठाएँ, त्यसपछि बुन्टुलाई खुवाउने महिलालाई सन्देश पठाए। त्यही साँझ मैले संसारभरका पशु संचार सहकर्मीहरूसँग एक सत्र गरें। हामीसँग कुरा गर्न चाहनेहरूसँग कुराकानी गर्न हामी हप्तामा एक पटक ZOOM मा भेट्यौं। हामीले बुन्टुलाई प्यानकेक र पजमा किन सर्न चाहनुभएन र यदि त्यहाँ कुनै सम्भावना छ भने उसले आफ्नो मन परिवर्तन गर्नेछ भनेर हामीसँग अझ गहिरो रूपमा साझा गर्न आमन्त्रित गर्यौ। बुन्टुले सञ्चारकर्मीसँग साझा गर्यो कि उसलाई प्यानकेक र पजमा जान इच्छुक भएको तर त्यो ठाउँमा कुनै व्यक्तिले उनीसँग काम गर्न आवश्यक धैर्य नहोला कि भन्ने चिन्ता रहेछ। मेरा सहकर्मीहरूसँगको सत्र पछि मैले मार्टिनालाई बुन्टुको सञ्चार साझेदारी गर्दै सन्देश पठाएँ।

भोलिपल्ट बन्टुलाई खुवाउने महिलाको छोराको फोन आयो । त्यसैबेला सडकमा वयस्क व्यवसायीहरूले बुन्टुलाई ढुङ्गाले हानेका थिए। मैले पछि थाहा पाएँ कि यी वयस्कहरूले केटाहरूलाई बुन्टुलाई लखेट्न र हिर्काउन भनेका रहेछन।

म घटनास्थलमा आइपुग्दा बुन्टु मार्टिनाको पुरानो पसलबाट अलिकति परको छेउमा स्या स्या गर्दै झिँगाले भरिएको संक्रमित कानमा, फोहोर लगेर, रौ पनि जट्टा परेर पल्टिरहेको थियो । एउटी युवती नेपालीमा मलाई चिच्याउदै हामीकहाँ दौडेर आएको देख्दा बुन्टु उठेर भाग्यो। यी मानिसहरू डरले मात्र प्रतिक्रिया गरिरहेका थिए भन्ने कुरा बुझेर यो कुकुरलाई पीडा भएको देख्न मलाई अफ्ट्यारो लग्यो। मैले मार्टिनालाई अर्को सन्देश पठाए।

त्यो साँझ मार्टिना टुक टुकमा सौराहा आएर बुन्टुसँग प्रतिबद्धता गरिन त्यसपछि बुन्टु तुरुन्तै टुक टुकमा उफ्र्यो – सदाको लागि प्यानकेक र पजलाई घर मानेर त्यता तर्फ लाग्यो।

February 2018 I met Sweta Shrestha at Carol Buckley’s Elephant Foot Care Workshop in Sauraha Nepal – I am a student of the program. Sweta’s role at the workshop was translating Carol’s English footcare instructions to the elephants mahouts to Nepalese.

Sweta and I became friendly right away – I found her to be outgoing, competent, reliable and ready to jump-in and try new things.

In 2018 I was lucky to return to Nepal in the fall. Sweta was being honored at a press conference in Kathmandu for participating in Nepali Travelers, Solo Woman Travel Challenge. Sweta invited me to the press conference which I was able to attend. After the press conference our relationship changed from acquaintances to friends.

​In 2019, Sweta agreed to translate the Animal And Nature Connects blog posts to Nepalese.

In 2022 Sweta translated the book, The Elephant And Children’s Land Story to Nepalese.

Thank you elephants, for introducing Sweta to us.

फेब्रुअरी २०१८ मा मैले श्वेता श्रेष्ठलाई नेपालको सौराहामा  क्यारोल बक्लेको एलिफ्यान्ट फुट केयर कार्यशालामा भेटें – म कार्यक्रमको विद्यार्थी थिए । कार्यशालामा श्वेताको भूमिका क्यारोलको अङ्ग्रेजी फुटकेयर निर्देशनहरू हात्ती माहुतहरूलाई नेपालीमा अनुवाद गर्नु थियो।

श्वेता र म तुरुन्तै मिलनसार बन्यौं – मैले उनलाई उत्कृष्ट, सक्षम, भरपर्दो र नयाँ चीजहरू प्रयास गर्न तयार भएको पाएँ।

२०१८ मा शरद ऋतुमा नेपाल फर्कन पाउँदा म भाग्यमानी थिएँ। नेपाली ट्राभलर्सको सोलो वुमन ट्राभल च्यालेन्जमा सहभागी भएकी श्वेतालाई काठमाडौंमा पत्रकार सम्मेलन गरी सम्मान गरिएको हो । श्वेताले मलाई पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा निम्तो गरिन्, जसमा म उपस्थित भएँ । पत्रकार सम्मेलनपछि हाम्रो सम्बन्ध चिनजानबाट मित्रतामा परिणत भयो ।

२०१९ मा, श्वेताले एनिमल एन्ड नेचर कनेक्ट ब्लग पोस्टलाई नेपालीमा अनुवाद गर्न सहमत भइन्।

हाम्रा साथीहरू सीता काली र जयमती काली, नेपालका दुई सेवानिवृत्त हात्तीहरूको बारेमा भर्खरको विश्व हात्ती गठबन्धन स्पटलाइटको मजा लिनुहोस्।

නේපාලයේ සැදෑසමයේ පසුවන අලි දෙදෙනෙකු වන සීතා කාලී සහ ජයමතී කාලී යන අපගේ මිතුරන් පිළිබද නවතම ලෝක අලි ඇත්ව සන්ධානයේ යොමු වූ  අවධානය  විදගන්න.

Shortly after publishing the blog, Migration Corridor Expedition, we were delighted to receive enough donations to purchase two gimbals, sound equipment, travel funds to film in three locations, and a scouting trip to Bardiya to meet forest officer Ashok Kumar Ram. The elephants have shared with us in Elephant Hour to connect with Ashok Ram. 

My time in Nepal was coming to an end in 2022. After calling to confirm Ashok was in Bardiya I hired a driver to take me to his office at Bardiya National Park. 

On the way to Bardiya, my driver, chaperone, and I was detained by the Nepalese military. 

The total drive time to Bardiya was fifteen hours.

After a lunch break, we experienced a four-hour stretch without a bathroom in sight. I had to pee. We couldn’t find a toilet. The chaperone asked if I was willing to relieve myself in the bush. I was fine pulling over to pee outside as I was feeling nauseous holding in my urine. Hiking since a wee one, pun intended – I am accustomed to going to the toilet in the wilderness.

At this point, we were on a main highway driving through Banke National Park. We found a wide spot on the highway with a public bus stop on the left. No one was around. The area on both sides of the road was cleared of brush for several hundred feet before the jungle canopy appeared. I quickly hopped out of the car and squatted behind the bus stop amongst trash which included empty liquor bottles. 

Fifteen minutes after the three-minute toilet break we encountered a military checkpoint. Our car had been waved through a few checkpoints along our route. This time we were required to pull over. 

After stopping the car a soldier walked up to our driver’s window aggressively taking the car keys out of the ignition. The driver and chaperone immediately got out of the car to discuss the situation. Several soldiers walked up to join the conversation. My lack of understanding Nepali had me curious about what was being said with all of the fast talk and hand waving going on.

Hot and sweaty without the air conditioning, being locked with the windows up in the car I stared into the eyes of the soldiers wondering what we did to warrant this situation. The soldier who had taken the car keys out of the ignition looked at me with contempt. 

After twenty minutes the chaperone opened my door to tell me he was told it is illegal to stop to go to the toilet in the bush and that no stopping was allowed on the road traveling through the national park. I learned we were waiting for a high-ranking soldier who was called to the situation. The chaperone left to go stand by the group of soldiers, leaving my door open so I had fresh air.

In the twenty minutes it took for the lead soldier to arrive I wondered if I had enough cash on me if I was forced to pay money to the soldiers. Would I be taken to jungle jail? Along the highway, there were posted billboards about wildlife but there were no signs stating it was illegal to stop on the highway, there were no public rest stops, and I saw plenty of men going to the toilet along the highway. How did these soldiers know we stopped on the highway?

When the lead soldier arrived there was more fast talking and hand waving before the lead soldier walked up to the car to talk to me. “Do you know why we have detained you”? The soldier spoke perfect English. 

I shared with the soldier that my chaperone told me we were in trouble for peeing along the side of the road. The soldier repeated that yes, it is illegal for me to pee in the jungle. I replied that I hadn’t peed in the jungle, I peed behind a bus stop.

I could see an expression of puzzlement overtake his face, he paused, then replied that the bus stop was for locals. The soldier then told me he was angry with my driver and chaperone for not pulling over when they were told to. I shared that I didn’t see anyone ask us to pull over until now and that my driver and chaperone were good men who wouldn’t do anything to risk my safety. The soldier agreed to let us move forward with a warning. I was not fined. The car keys were returned to us.

Once we were back on the road my chaperone told me the soldiers had planned on fining me. He did his best to explain our situation to the soldiers of not finding rest stops, no signs along the highway stating it was illegal to stop, and of all the chaperones work on conservation projects with the Nepalese government. My chaperone also shared with the soldiers they were driving me to visit forest officer Ashok Kumar Ram.

माइग्रेसन करिडोर एक्सपिडिसन नामक ब्लग प्रकाशित गरेको केही समयपछि, दुईवटा गिम्बल, ध्वनि उपकरण र तीन ठाउँमा फिल्म बनाउनको लागि ट्राभल कोष, र वन अधिकृत अशोक राम कुमारलाई भेट्न बर्दियाको स्काउटिंग यात्राको लागि पर्याप्त चन्दा प्राप्त गर्न पाउँदा हामी खुसी छौं। हात्तीहरूले अशोक रामसँग जोड्न एलिफ्यान्ट आवरमा हामीसँग साझेदारी गरेका छन्।

२०२२ मा नेपालमा मेरो समय सकिन लागेको थियो। अशोक जी बर्दियामा रहेको पुष्टि गरेपछि मैले बर्दिया राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जमा रहेको उनको कार्यालयमा लैजान ड्राइभर खोजे।

बर्दिया जाँदै गर्दा मेरो चालक, संरक्षक र मलाई नेपाली सेनाले नियन्त्रणमा लियो।

बर्दिया पुग्ने कुल समय पन्ध्र घण्टा थियो।

खाजाको विश्राम पछि हामीले बाथरुम बिनाको चार घण्टाको लामो समय अनुभव गर्यौं। पिसाब फेर्न आवस्यक परि सकेको थियो। हामीले शौचालय फेला पार्न सकेनौं। संरक्षकले सोधे कि म झाडीमा आफूलाई राहत दिन इच्छुक छु। म बाहिर पिसाब गर्न तयार किनकि मैले पिसाब च्यापेर म असहज महसुस गर्न थालिसकेको थिए। म सानो छँदादेखि पैदल यात्रा गर्ने बानि भएकोले – उजाडस्थानमा शौचालय जाने मेरो बानी परिसकेको थियो।

यस बिन्दुमा हामी बाँके राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज हुँदै जाने मुख्य राजमार्गमा थियौं। हामीले बायाँमा सार्वजनिक बस स्टपको साथ राजमार्गमा फराकिलो ठाउँ भेट्टायौं। वरपर कोही थिएन। जङ्गल चन्दवा देखिनु अघि सडकको दुबै छेउको क्षेत्र सयौं फिटसम्म ब्रसले सफा गरिएको थियो। म हतार हतार कारबाट ओर्लेँ र बस स्टपको पछाडि फोहोरको बीचमा बसेँ जसमा रक्सीका खाली बोतलहरू थिए।

तीन मिनेटको शौचालय ब्रेकको पन्ध्र मिनेट पछि हामीले सेना चौकीको सामना गर्‍यौं। हाम्रो कार हाम्रो मार्गमा केही चेकपोइन्टहरू मार्फत सहजै काटेको थियौ तर यस पटक हामीलाई सेना चौकी मा रोक्यो।

कार रोकेपछि एक सिपाही आक्रामक ढंगले हाम्रो ड्राइभरको झ्यालमा आएर कारको साँचो निकाल्यो। स्थितिबारे छलफल गर्न चालक र संरक्षक तुरुन्तै कारबाट बाहिर निस्के। मैले नेपाली नबुझ्ने भएको ले ती सबै द्रुत कुराकानी र हात हल्लाएर के कुरा भैरहेको छ भन्ने जिज्ञासा लग्यो। धेरै सिपाहीहरू कुराकानीमा सामेल हुन पुगे।

बिना वातानुकूलित कारको झ्यालहरू बन्द र तातो र पसिनाले भैरहेको अनि यो अवस्थामा पुग्न हामीले के गर्यौं भनेर सोच्दै सिपाहीहरूको आँखामा हेरे। इग्निशनबाट कारको साँचो निकालेको सिपाहीले मलाई घृणाले हेर्यो।

बीस मिनेट पछि मेरो संरक्षकले मलाई बताउन मेरो ढोका खोल्यो कि उनीहरूलाई झाडीमा शौचालय जान रोक्नु गैरकानुनी हो र राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज हुँदै जाने बाटोमा रोकिन अनुमति छैन। मैले बुझे कि हामी एक उच्च श्रेणीका सिपाहीको पर्खाइमा छौं जसलाई यो स्थितिमा बोलाइएको थियो। म ताजा हावा पाउन सकूँ भनेर मेरो ढोका खुला छोडेर सिपाहीहरूको समूहको छेउमा उभिनका लागि संरक्षक गए।

अगुवा सिपाही आइपुग्न बीस मिनेट लाग्यो, मैले सिपाहीहरूलाई पैसा तिर्न बाध्य भएमा मसँग पर्याप्त नगद छ कि छैन भनेर सोच्न थाले। के मलाई जङ्गल कारागारमा लैजाला कि? राजमार्गको छेउमा वन्यजन्तुको बारेमा होर्डिंग बोर्डहरु टाँगेको थियो तर त्यहाँ राजमार्गमा रोक्न अवैध छ भनेर कुनै संकेतहरू थिएनन्, त्यहाँ कुनै सार्वजनिक विश्राम स्टपहरू पनि थिएनन्, र मैले राजमार्गको छेउमा धेरै पुरुषहरू शौचालय गर्न  उब्बेको देखेको थिएँ। हामी राजमार्गमा रोकिएको यी सिपाहीहरूलाई कसरी थाहा भयो होला?

बरिस्ठ सिपाही आउनु अग्हे धेरै चर्क चर्की कुरा भैरहेको थियो त्यहाँ।  सो सिपाही हाम्रो गाडी तिर आउदै मलाई सोधे ,’ के तपाइलाई थाहा छ हामीले तपाई हरु लाई किन रोक्युम होला भनेर ? ” उनको अंग्रेजी एकदम राम्रो थियो।

मैले सिपाहीसँग साझा गरें कि मेरो संरक्षकले मलाई सडकको छेउमा पिसाब गरेको ले हामी समस्यामा परेको बताए। सिपाहीले दोहोर्यायो कि हो, मेरो लागि जंगलमा पिसाब गर्नु गैरकानुनी थियो। मैले जङ्गलमा पिसाब गरेको होइन, बस स्टपको पछाडि पिसाब गरेको जवाफ दिएँ ।

मैले उसको अनुहारमा अचम्मको भाव देखे , उसले रोक्यो र जवाफ दियो कि बस स्टप स्थानीयहरूको लागि हो। उनीहरुले मेरो ड्राइभर र संरक्षकलाई रोक भन्दा नमानेको ले उनीहरुसँग रिसाएको सिपाहीले मलाई भने। मैले साझा गरे कि अहिलेसम्म कसैले हामीलाई रोक्न आग्रह गरेको देखेको छैन र मेरो ड्राइभर र संरक्षक असल मानिस हुन जसले मेरो सुरक्षालाई जोखिममा पार्ने कुनै काम गर्दैनन्। सिपाहीले हामीलाई चेतावनी दिएर अगाडि बढ्न दिन राजी भयो। मलाई जरिवाना लागेन । कारको चाबी हामीलाई फिर्ता गरियो।

एकपटक हामी सडकमा फर्किसकेपछि मेरो संरक्षकले मलाई सिपाहीहरूले मलाई जरिवाना गर्ने योजना बनाएको बताए। उहाँले बाटोमा सौचालय नभेटेको र चालकहरूलाई राजमार्गमा रोकिनु गैरकानुनी हो भनी कुनै संकेत नभएको र नेपाल सरकारसँग संरक्षण परियोजनाहरूमा काम गर्ने सबै संरक्षकहरूको हाम्रो अवस्था बुझाउन सक्दो प्रयास गर्नुभयो। मलाई वन अधिकृत अशोकराम कुमारलाई भेट्न लैजाँदै गरेको मेरो संरक्षकले पनि बताए ।

2022 වසර වෙනුවෙන් නේපාලයේ ගත කිරීමට ඇති මාගේ කාලය අවසන් වෙමින් පැවතුනි.අශෝක් බාර්දියාහී සිටින බව සනාථ කර ගැනීමෙන් අනතුරුව බාර්දියා වන උද්‍යානයේ ඇති ඔහුගේ කාර්‍යාලය වෙත යාම සදහා මා  කුළී රියදුරෙකු යොදා ගත්තෙමි.බාර්දියා වෙත ගමන් කරන අතර තුර මා සහ මාගේ රියදුරුත් මගපෙන්වන්නා වන චැප්රන්වත් නේපාල ආරක්ෂක අංශ විසින් රදවා තබා ගන්නා ලදී.

බාර්දියා වෙත යන ගමන සම්පූරණ කිරීමට හෝරා පහලොවක් පමණ ගත විය.

දිවා ආහාර විවේකයෙන් පසුව පැය හතරක පමණ ගමනකට මුහුණ දීමට සිදු වූයේ කිසිම වැසිකිලි පහසුකමක් නොමැතිවය.මා හට වැසිකිලි යාමට අවශ්‍ය වුවත් අපට වැසිකිලියක් හමු නොවීය.වදුලකට මුවා වී මාගේ බර නිදහස් කිරීමට කැමතිදැයි චැප්‍රරන් මාගෙන් විමසීය. මූත්‍රා බර ඉවසාගෙන සිටි මා හට ඔක්කාර ගතියක් ආ බැවින් මා ඊට කැමති විය.කුඩා කල සිට කදු තරණ, කාන්තාර තරණ වැනි චාරිකා සදහා සහභාගී වූ මා හට එය නුපුරුදු අත්දැකීමක් නොවීය.

එම අවස්ථාවේදී අප ගමන් කරමින් සිටියේ බන්කේ ජාතික වන උද්‍යානය හරහා වැටී ඇති ප්‍රධාන අධිවේගි මාර්ගයෙනි.අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ වම් පස පොදු බස් රථ නැවතුම්පලක් අසල පුළුල් ස්ථානයක් අප නෙත ගැටුනු අතර ඒ අවට කිසිවෙකුත් සිටියේද නැත.කැලෑ වියන අඩි සිය ගණනක් මෙහා සිට පැහැදිලි වන පරිදි කුඩා පදුරු සියල්ල මග දෙපසින් ඉවත් කර තිබුණි.මම ඉක්මනින් වාහනයෙන් බැස බස් නැවතුම පිටුපස තිබූ හිස් මත්පැන් බෝතල් පිරුනු කුණු ගොඩ ලග ඇන තියා ගත්තෙමි.

මිනිත්තු තුනක වැසිකිළි විරාමයෙන් අනතුරුව මිනිත්තු පහළොවකට පසු අපට හමුදා මුර පොලක් හමු විය.

අප පැමිණි මාර්ගයේ මුරපොලවල් කීපයක්ම පසුකර පැමිණියත් මෙම ස්ථානයේ අපට නතර වීමට සිදු විය.කාර් රථය නතර කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව සොල්දාදුවෙක් රියදුරු ලගට පැමිණ ඉතා ආක්‍රමණශීලී ලෙස යතුරු කටෙන් ඉවත් කරන ලදී.එසැනින් රියදුරු කාර් රථයෙන් බැස ගත්තේ  එම සොල්දාදුවා සමග තත්වය සාකච්චා කිරීම සදහාය.නේපාල භාෂාව කතා කිරීමට ඇති නොහැකියාව නිසා ඔවුන් අත් දිගු කරමින් මහ හඩින් කථා කරන දේවල් පිලිබදව මා කුතුහලයෙන් පසු උනෙමි.සොල්දාදුවන් කීප දෙනෙකුම එම ස්ථනයට පැමිණ සංවාදයට එක් විය.

දොරගුළු වැසූ කාර් රථයේ වායු සමීකරණ යන්ත්‍රයද ක්‍රියා විරහිතවීම නිසා දහදිය පෙරෙමින් සෙබලුන්ගේ දෑස් දිහා මා බලා සිටියේ අප කල වැරද්ද කුමක් දැයි සිතමිනි.

කාර් රථයේ යතුරු කටින් යතුර ගත් සොල්දාදුවා අවඥාවෙන් මා දෙස බැලුවේය.

විනාඩි විස්සකට පමණ පසුව මාගේ රියදුරු දොර විවර කොට පැවසූයේ අපගේ වාහනය නැවත්වීමට හේතු වූ කාරණය මාර්ගයේ පදුරු අසල මූත්‍රා කිරීම නීති විරෝධී බවත් ජාතික වන උද්‍යාන අතරින් ගමන් කරන විට අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ නැවතීම නීති විරෝධී බවත්‍ පැවසීම සදහායි.මෙම තත්වය සමතකයට පත් කිරීමට ඉහල පෙලේ හමුදා නිළදාරියෙකු කැදවන තෙක් අප බලා සිටින බවත් මා හට දැන ගන්නට ලැබුනි.රියදුරු වාහනයේ දොර ඇර තබා සොල්දාදුවන් අසලට ගියේ  මා හට නැවුම් සොභාවික වාතය ලබා ගැනීමට අවස්ථාව

May 5, 2022, when walking in an area of Kathmandu known as the Kalamati I came upon a street calf.

When I first saw the calf he was licking the photos of the food you see on the sign behind him in this video.

Talking to the calf in the moment I heard he had acceptance of living on the street although he would love to be in a natural location. He told me nothing is permanent and he was enjoying the energy of the city.

After watching the calf for a while I reached out my hand. After licking my hand with plenty of kisses the calf allowed me to stroke and pet him – He loved ear scratches.

After my encounter with the calf, I reached out to two of my animal communicator colleagues curious to know what the street calf would tell them. Ramya Rao and Anita Vallala live in India – Here is their communication with the street calf.

May 6, 2022 – Hello Calf: Surprised I said hello. Easy. Calm. Loving. Sweet.

How are you? Ok. Miss the company of other cows. Feel lonely. I like to graze. Need sunlight. I find some food, but fresh water is a challenge.

What were you doing in the place Annette saw you? I was at the store hoping to find some curd or malai/cream.

What is it like for you to live on the street in Kathmandu? It’s fine. I do like the buzz around me. Keeps me busy, I keep checking things out. But I would like to stay with other cows. I come in search of some company. So I stay on the streets. Also, I do find food that people throw away or give too.

Are you sad or angry or scared living this way? What is there to be angry or sad? This has been my life. I don’t question. I just live it. Would I want to be with other cows? Yes. But this is also ok.

What would you love humans to know? I could also be a good pet like a dog. Even if I don’t have milk to give you, I can be a good companion. Humans need to learn to love and accept even if there is no particular gain from us. We are also sentient beings. Don’t discard us if you can’t gain anything from us. But then I am asking for too much, cause everyone is just busy, busy, and has no time to connect and be in sync. Spend time in nature to know the true meaning of life.

Conversation with the Calf, May 6, 2022 – The calf came across as social and approachable. The calf likes to have more interactions with people and more engagement. Feels lonely and would love company.

When asked about daily life. I want to have my place amongst people. I don’t like wandering too much. The green pastures have dried up so I am unable to have a good graze. Finding food and water is at times a task. Mostly I am looking for some shade and lots of love. I came here to this place as I got the fragrance of sweets and some tea. I thought I will get to eat something (That’s when you saw the calf, Annette.)

Do you have a family? Not near me.

Are you away from your family? I am away from them.

Where is your mother? Not around right now.

Will you meet her soon? I think I will.

How would you like your life to be? I wish I had a home where I can be a part of a family. I want to be around good people and more cows. Otherwise, being alone on the streets of Kathmandu is exasperating. Not complaining but I am sure in this life I will find some interesting stories, interesting people and interesting experiences. Hopefully some food as well.

Any message for humans? It would be nice if people remember our virtues. People are too busy and we are looked upon as just a commodity. People realize that we are reducing in numbers only when they don’t see us when they need us. They come to find us only when they have to. Don’t look for relationships that are need-based. Look for more depth in relationships. We all are resources if we actually go to see, even you humans are a resource. But if you were treated like that how would you feel?

जब मैले पहिलो पटक बाछोलाई देखेँ उसले यो भिडियोमा देखिने उसको पछाडिको चिन्हमा देखेको खानाको फोटो चाटिरहेको थियो।

बाछोसँग कुरा गर्दा मैले सुनें कि उसले सडकमा बस्ने जीवन अप्नैसकेको छ यद्यपि उसलाई प्राकृतिक स्थानमा रहने रहर पनि रहेछ। उसले मलाई भन्यो कि केहि पनि स्थायी छैन र ऊ शहरको ऊर्जाको आनन्द लिइरहेको छ।

केही बेर बाछोलाई हेरेपछि मैले हात पसारें । धेरै चुम्बन संग मेरो हात चाटे पछि बाछोले मलाई सुम्सुमाउन र चलाउन अनुमति दियो – उसलाई उसको कान चलाइदेको मन पर्यो।

बाछोसँगको मेरो भेट पछि, मेरा दुई जना पशु सञ्चारकर्मी साथीहरूलाई त्यो बाछोले के भन्ला भनेर जान्न उत्सुक भए। राम्या राव र अनिता भल्लाला भारतमा बस्छन् – तल प्रस्तुत गरेका सन्धर्भ बाछो र मेरा साथीहरू बीचको कुराकानी हुन्।

तिमीलाई कस्तो छ? ठिक छ। अन्य गाईहरूको संगतको अभाब महसुस गरिरहेको छु। एक्लाे महसुस हुन्छ। मलाई चर्न मन पर्छ। सूर्यको किरण चाहिन्छ। मैले खाने कुरा त भेतौचु तर सफा पानी पाउनु मेरो लागि एक चुनौती हो।

एनेटले तिमीलाई देखेको ठाउँमा के गर्दै थियौ? म पसलको अघाडी दही वा मलाई/क्रिम भेट्ने आशामा उब्बी रहेको थिएँ।

काठमाडौंको सडकमा बस्दा कस्तो लाग्छ? सबै ठिकै छ। मलाई मेरो वरिपरिको होहल्ला मन पर्छ। मलाई व्यस्त राख्छ, म चीजहरू जाँच गरिरहन्छु। तर म अरू गाईहरूसँग बस्न चाहन्छु। म कुनै कम्पनीको खोजीमा आएको छु । त्यसैले म सडकमा बस्छु। मानिसहरूले फलेको  खानेकुरा फेला पार्छु वा कहिले आफै दिने पनि  गर्छन।

के तपाई यसरी जिउन दुख वा रिस वा डराएको अनुभव हुन्छ? रिसाउनु वा दुखी हुनु के छ र ? यो मेरो जीवन भएको छ। म प्रश्न गर्दिन । म मात्र बाँचिरहेको छु। के म अन्य गाईहरूसँग हुन चाहन्छु? हो चाहन्छु । तर यतिकै पनि ठीक छ।

तपाई मानिसहरुलाई के जानोस भनेर चाहनु हुन्छ? म पनि कुकुर जस्तै राम्रो घरपालुवा जनावर बन्न सक्छु। मसँग तिमीलाई दिन दूध नभए पनि, म राम्रो साथी बन्न सक्छु। हामीबाट कुनै विशेष लाभ नभए पनि मानिसहरूले प्रेम गर्न र स्वीकार गर्न सिक्नुपर्छ। हामी पनि भावुक प्राणी हौं। यदि तपाइँले हामीबाट केहि प्राप्त गर्न नसके पनि हामीलाई नत्याग्नुहोस्। तर म धेरै कुरा माग्दैछु, किनकि सबैजना व्यस्त छन्, र प्रकृति संग जोडिन र सिङ्कमा हुनको लागि समय छैन। जीवनको वास्तविक अर्थ जान्न प्रकृतिमा समय बिताउनुहोस्।

बाछोसँगको कुराकानी, मई ६, २०२२ – बाछो सामाजिक र पहुँचयोग्य रूपमा भेटियो। बाछोले मानिसहरूसँग बढी अन्तरक्रिया र थप संलग्नता गर्न मन पराउने रहेछ। एक्लो महसुस गर्छ र कसैको साथ पौने आशमा छ।

दैनिक जीवनको बारेमा सोध्दा – म मानिसहरु माझ मेरो स्थान बनाउन चाहन्छु। मलाई धेरै घुम्न मन लाग्दैन। हरियो चरन सुक्न थालिसक्यो त्यसैले राम्रो चर्न पाएको छैन । खाना र पानी खोज्नु कहिलेकाहीं गार्हो काम हुनपुग्छ। प्रायः म केहि छाया र धेरै माया खोज्दै हिडिरहेको छु। मिठाई र चियाको सुगन्ध पाएपछि म यो ठाउँमा आएको हुँ । मैले सोचे कि म केहि खान पाउँछु (त्यै बेला एनेटले त्यो बाछोलाई देखिन।)

के तपाईको परिवार छ? मेरो नजिक छैन।

के तपाई आफ्नो परिवारबाट टाढा हुनुहुन्छ? म तिनीहरूबाट टाढा छु।

तिम्री आमा कहाँ छिन्? अहिले वरपर छैन।

के तिमी तिम्रो आमालाई चाडै भेट्छौ त? मलाई लाग्छ कि म भेट्छु होला।

तपाईं आफ्नो जीवन कस्तो होस् भन्ने चाहनुहुन्छ? मेरो चाहना छ कि म कुनै परिवारको हिस्सा बन्न सकु र उनको घरमा बस्न पाऊ।  म राम्रो मान्छे र धेरै गाईहरु को  वरपर हुन चाहन्छु। नत्र भने यो काठमाडौंको सडकमा एक्लै बस्नु दुःखदायी हुन्छ । गुनासो छैन तर यो जीवनमा मैले केही रोचक कथाहरू, रोचक व्यक्तिहरू र रोचक अनुभवहरू फेला पार्ने पक्का छ। आशा छ केहि खाना पनि भेटाउने छु।

मानिसहरु का लागी केहि सन्देश? हाम्रा सद्गुणहरूलाई मानिसहरूले सम्झे भने राम्रो हुन्थ्यो। मानिसहरू धेरै व्यस्त छन् र हामीलाई केवल एक वस्तुको रूपमा हेरिन्छ। जब उनीहरूले हाम्रो आवश्यक पर्दा हामीलाई देख्दैनन् त्यतिबेला  मानिसहरूले महसुस गर्छन कि हाम्रो संख्यामा घट्दैछ । उनिहरुलाई आवस्यक परेको बेला मात्र हामीलाई खोज्न आउँछन्। आवश्यकतामा आधारित सम्बन्धहरू नखोज्नुहोस्। सम्बन्धमा थप गहिराई खोज्नुहोस्। हामी सबै संसाधन हौं यदि हामी वास्तवमा हेर्न गयौं भने, तपाईं मानव पनि एक स्रोत हो। तर यदि तपाईलाई यस्तो व्यवहार गरियो भने तपाईलाई कस्तो लाग्छ?

වර්ෂ 2022 මැයි මස 05 වෙනි දින කත්මන්දු නුවර කලමටි නමින් හදුන්වන ප්‍රදේශයේ මා ඇවිදිමින් සිටියදී වීදි වසු පැටියෙකු   මා  වෙත පැමිණියා .මේ වීඩියෝවේ මුලින්ම ඔබ දකින එම වසු පැටියා පසුබිමින් අලවා ඇති  දැන්වීම් පුවරුවේ  ආහාරවල පිංතූර ලෙව කමින් සිටියා.

වසු පැටියා සමග කථා කල මොහොතේ සොභාවික ස්ථානයක ඉන්නට ආශාව තිබුනත් වීදියේ ජීවත් වීමට සිදු වී ඇති බව පිළිගන්නා බව මට දැන ගත හැකි උනා. කිසි දෙයක් ස්ථිර නැති බවත් නගරයේ ශක්තිය විදිමින් සිටින බවත් මා සමග පැවසූවා.

වසු පැටියා බැලීමෙන් අනතුරුව මා මාගේ අත  ඌ දෙසට යොමු කලා.එවිට මගේ අත ලෙව කමින් කීපවිටක්ම අත සිප ගත් අතර අත ගාමින් හුරතල් කිරීමට ඉඩ ලබා දුන්නා –  කන්පෙති කසන විට ඌ ඉතා වින්දනයක් ලැබුවා.

මගෙත් වසුපැටියාගේත් හමුවීමෙන් පසු මාගේ සත්ව සංනිවේදකයින් දෙපලක් වෙත සමීප වූයේ වීදි වසු පැටියා ඔවුනට පවසන්නේ කුමක්දැයි දැන ගැනීමට පැවති කුතුහලයත් සමගිනි.රම්‍යා රාඕ සහ අනීතා වල්ලාලා ඉන්දියාවේ ජීවත් වේ –  ඔවුන් සහ වීදි වසු පැටියා අතර ඇති වූ කථා බහ මෙන්න.

වර්ෂ 2022 මැයි මස 06 වන දින – ආයුබෝවන් වසු පැටියෝ : මම පහසුවෙන්,කාරුණිකව,සෙනෙහසින් සහ  මිහිරි ලෙස ආයුබෝවන් කීවෙමි. 

කොහොමද ඔබට? හොදයි.අනෙක් ගවයින්ව මග හැරුනා.තනිකමක් දැනෙනවා.තණකොල වලට මම ආසයි.හිරු එළියත් අවශ්‍යයි.මට ආහාර සොයා ගත හැකියි නමුත් පිරිසිදු ජලය සොයා ගැනීම තරමක් අභියෝගයක්.

ඇනට් ඔබව දකින වෙලේ ඔබ මොනවද කරමින් සිටියේ? මම මී කිරි හෝ මැලේ /ක්‍රීම් හොයා ගැනීමේ බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් ගබඩාව අසලට වී හිටියා.

ඔබ කත්මන්දු නුවර වීදියේ ජීවත් වීමට කැමැත්තක් දක්වන්නේ ඇයි? එය හොදයි.මම කැමතියි මා වටා රෑනක් ඉන්නවට,කාර්‍ය් බහුල වෙන්න,දේවල් පරීක්ෂා කරන්න නමුත් මම කැමතියි තවත් ගවයන් සමග ගැවසෙන්න.මම එනවා යම් කණ්ඩායමක් සොයාගෙන ඉතිං මා මිනිසුන් විසින් ලබා දෙන සහ ඉවත දමන ආහාර ලබා ගැනීම සදහා මං මාවත් වල රැදී සිටිනවා. 

ඔබට මෙලෙස ජීවත් වෙද්දි දුකක්,කේන්තියක් හෝ බියක් දැනෙනවද? කේන්ති ගැනීමට හෝ දුක් වීමට එහි මොනවද තියෙන්නෙ?මෙය මගේ ජීවිතය වෙලා තියනවා.මට ප්‍රශ්ණයක් නැහැ.මම ජීවත් වෙනවා.අනෙක් ගවයන් සමග මා ඉන්න අවශ්‍යද? ඔව් නමුත් මෙහෙමත් හොදයි.

ඔබ මිනිසුන් හට දැනුම් දීමට ඇත්තේ මොනවාද? මටත් සුනඛයන් ලෙසම හොද සුරතල් සතෙක් වෙන්න පුළුවන්.ඔබට දෙන්නට කිරි නොමැති උනත් හොද සහකරුවෙකු වෙන්න පුළුවන්.අපගෙන් ලබා ගැනීමට යමක් නොවුනත් මිනිසුන් සෙනෙහස ගන්න වගේම දෙන්නත් ඉගෙන ගත යුතුයි.අපත් සංවේදී ජීවීන්. අපෙන් කිසිවක් නොලෑබුන විට නොසලකා අපව ඉවත දමන්න එපා.මම පමණට වඩා අහනවා වෙන්න පුළුවන් නමුත්  හැමකෙනාම කාර්‍ය්බහුලයි එකට සම්භන්ධ වී වැඩ කරන්න නිසැකවම වෙලාවක් නැහැ.සොභාදහම සමග කල් ගත කර ජීවිතයේ සැබෑ අරුත දැන ගන්න.

 ආශ්චර්‍ය්යන් වැළදගැනීම් ආයතනයේ  අනීතා වල්ලාලා  

වර්ෂ 2022 මැයි මස 6 වෙනිදා වසු පැටියා සමග පැවති සංවාදය – වසු පැටියා සමාජශීලී භාවයට හා ළඟා විය හැකි ආකාරයට පත් විය.ඌ මිනිසුන් සමග අන්තර් ක්‍රියාකිරීමටත් එහි නියැලීමටත්,දැනුනු  තනිකම පසෙකලා සහයෝගය දීමට කැමැත්තක් දැක්වීය.

එදිනෙදා ජීවිතය ගැන විමසීමේදී – මට මිනිසුන් අතර ස්ථානයක් තබා ගැනීමට උවමනායි.පමනට වඩා පුදුම වෙන්න මා අකමැතියි.හරිත තණකොල වියලී ගොස් ඇති නිසා හොද තණකොල කෑමට පුළුවන් කමක් නැහැ.ආහාර සහ ජලය වෙලාවට සොයා ගැනීම අසීරු කටයුත්තක්.බොහෝවිට මා සෙවනක් හෝ දැඩි සෙනෙහසක් සොයමින් පසු වෙනවා.මම මෙතනට ආවේ රසවත් තේ වල සුවද දැනුනු නිසා.මම හිතුවා කෑමට යමක් ලැබෙයි කියලා ( ඒ මොහොතේ ඇනට් වසු පැටියා දැක ඇත)

ඔබට පවුලක් සිටිනවාද? මා අසල නැහැ

ඔබ ඔවුන්ගෙන් ඈත්වද ඉන්නේ? ඔව් මා ඔවුන්ගෙන් ඈත්වයි ඉන්නේ.

ඔබේ මව ඉන්නේ කොහේද? දැනට මේ වටපිටාවේ නැහැ.

ඔබට ඇයව ඉක්මණින් මුණ ගැසේවිද? මම හිතනවා මුණ ගැසේවි කියලා

ඔබේ ජීවිතය කොහොම වෙනවටද ඔබ කැමති? මිනිසුන් අපගේ ගුණධර්ම මතක තබා ගන්නවා නම් ඒක හොද දෙයක්.මිනිසුන් කාර්‍ය්බහුල අතර අපව වෙළද භාණ්ඩයක් හැටියට දකිනවා.මිනිසුන්ට අපව අවශ්‍ය වූ විට, අප නොදකින විට, සංඛ්‍යාත්මක ලෙස  අපගේ අඩුවීම  මිනිසුන් වටහා ගනීවි.ඔවුන්ට අවශ්‍ය වෙලාවට පමණයි ඔවුන් අපව සොයන්නේ.අවශ්‍යතා මත පදනම් වූ සම්භන්ධතා සොයන්න එපා.සම්භන්ධතා මදක් ගැඹුරින් දකින්න.සැබවින්ම ගොස් බැලුවොත් අපි සියල්ල සම්පත් බවත් මිනිසුන් වන ඔබ ඊටත් වඩා සම්පත් බවත් වැටහේවි. නමුත් ඔබ සලකන්නේ ඒ අයුරින් නම් ඔබට මොනවද වැටහෙන්නේ?
